Save PNG screenshots as a PDF
Pick the PNG files that belong together. Numbered names such as shot2 and shot10 line up correctly on their own.
Arrange the thumbnails, turn sideways pictures upright, drop any extras and set the paper size plus border.
Press Create PDF, type a file name and save it, or switch the output to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG or PNG.
Why this toolbox is handy for saving PNGs as PDF
Small print stays readable
Pixels go into the document losslessly, so tiny text in a captured receipt, chart labels or a code snippet look exactly as sharp as in the original picture.
Paper-ready layouts
Documents headed for a printer get A4 or Letter sheets with an optional small or large border, and landscape pictures land on landscape sheets. For on-screen reading, Fit to image drops the borders.
Mixed batches welcome
Slip JPG, WEBP or other pictures and even existing PDFs into the same document, add blank separator sheets, copy a page you need twice and step back with Undo.
Handles awkward files
A JPG renamed to .png, a phone picture without a file type or a PNG cut short during download is detected and, where the browser can still open it, fixed on your device, while empty files are left out with a note.
Save PNG images as PDF for school, work and paperwork
Screenshots, exported charts and phone scans usually arrive as loose PNG files. Gathering them into a single PDF gives you one attachment instead of ten, a fixed page order and a format every printer, portal and inbox accepts. Best-Converter does the job inside your browser tab, so nothing is installed and nothing is uploaded.
Everyday jobs it covers
- Students collect screenshots of lecture slides into one study file to annotate later.
- Office teams attach error-message captures or dashboard snapshots to a report as one tidy document.
- Freelancers send a client a short portfolio of design mockups exported as PNG.
- HR staff turn signed forms saved from a scanning app into a single record for the archive.
- Real estate agents bundle floor plans and listing graphics into a brochure-style handout.
- Teachers combine worksheet pages into a file that prints in the right order.
A two-minute workflow
Rename the pictures with leading numbers such as 01, 02 and 03 before you start, and they will already sit in sequence. Open them all, glance over the thumbnails, enlarge one if you want to check the detail, then decide between Fit to image for screen reading and A4 or Letter for paper. When the dialog appears you can download the PDF, keep it in My documents, or open it in the editor to sign, add text or highlight before sending.
Good to know before you start
- The PDF is usually close to the combined size of the PNGs; run it through Compress PDF if an email limit is tight.
- Very large pictures take a little longer to process, and an older phone may need fewer images per batch.
- Some iPhone PNGs use a format only Safari reads; open the page in Safari or export them again as a normal PNG or JPG.
Other things you can save as PDF
Questions people ask about this task
How do I save several PNG screenshots as one PDF?
Select all of them at once or drop them onto the page. Every picture turns into its own page of a single document, and the Add files button brings in more later.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
No. The tool runs in a browser tab on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone. An account is optional; without one you can still download the file or keep it in My documents on this device.
Is it safe to save a PNG of my ID card or bank statement as PDF?
Yes. Your browser builds the document locally and the pictures are never sent to a server, so sensitive images stay on your own device.
Why does my logo sit on a white page in the PDF?
A PDF page is white paper by default. The transparent parts of your PNG are kept, so they simply let that white sheet show through, on screen and in print.
Can I print the result on A4 or US Letter paper?
Yes. Choose A4 or Letter as the page size and each picture is centred and scaled to fit the sheet. A small border helps when a printer trims the edges.
What if one of my files is an animated PNG?
Only its first frame goes into the document, because PDF pages are static. The other files in the batch are not affected.
