Quick guide

Turn any picture into a PDF

01

Add whatever you have on hand: iPhone HEIC shots, WEBP pictures saved from websites, scanner TIFFs or plain JPG and PNG files.

02

Lay out the document: move pages around, turn any that face the wrong way, drop extras and set the paper size and border.

03

Press Create PDF and save the result, ready to email, upload to a portal or send to the printer.

What you get

The awkward formats, sorted

Scanner and fax TIFFs that actually open

A TIFF holding several pages is split so each one lands on its own PDF page. Fax compression (CCITT Group 3 and 4), LZW, Deflate, PackBits and JPEG-based TIFFs are decoded right on your computer.

HEIC straight off the iPhone

No need to switch camera settings or export to JPG first. Safari reads HEIC by itself; other browsers load a decoder the first time one is needed.

WEBP and other web formats welcome

Pictures grabbed from websites as WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP or SVG are redrawn once into a PDF-friendly image: graphics and see-through pictures stay lossless as PNG, while photos go in as JPEG.

Mix in PDFs you already have

The + button takes existing PDF files as well as more pictures, so a cover letter in PDF and a pile of HEIC receipt photos can end up in the same document.

HEIC, WEBP and TIFF to PDF: when this toolbox page helps

JPG and PNG go into almost any PDF maker. The trouble starts with the other formats: an iPhone saves HEIC, websites hand out WEBP, office scanners and fax servers produce TIFF. This page accepts all of them in one batch and gives back a single PDF, without installing a program.

Real jobs it handles

  • Students: photograph handwritten homework on an iPhone and submit the HEIC shots as one PDF.
  • HR teams: combine an applicant's ID scanned to TIFF with a signed form into one onboarding file.
  • Real estate agents: turn listing photos downloaded as WEBP into an A4 set ready for printing.
  • Freelancers: collect client mockups in WEBP, AVIF and PNG into a single PDF for review.
  • Offices: open old Group 4 fax archives and keep them as readable PDFs.
  • Teachers: join a scanned worksheet with whiteboard photos for a handout.

A quick routine

Drop everything in at once. Use Sort to line pages up by file name, or drag them by hand. Insert a blank page between sections, duplicate a page you need twice, and press Ctrl+Z if you change your mind.

Picking paper and margins

For anything that will be printed or uploaded to an official portal, A4 or Letter keeps every page the same size; landscape pictures automatically get a landscape sheet. For on-screen reading, Fit to image shapes each page around its picture. A small or large margin adds a white frame.

Limits worth knowing

Everything runs in your device's memory, so a huge batch is easier on a computer than on an older phone. Pictures that exceed what the browser can draw are scaled down and you get a message saying so. Animated GIFs contribute only their first frame.

Questions people ask about this task

How do I turn HEIC photos into a PDF on Windows or Android?

Open this page in a current browser and drop the HEIC files in. When the browser has no built-in HEIC support, a decoder is fetched once and the photos are processed on your device, then placed on the pages as JPEG.

Can I save a WEBP image as a PDF?

Yes. Each WEBP is redrawn locally: artwork with transparency or flat colours is kept as PNG, photos become JPEG at 92% quality, and every picture gets a page of its own.

My scanner produced one TIFF with many pages. Will they all appear?

They will, as separate PDF pages in the original sequence. If a later page in the file is damaged, it is skipped, a note tells you its page number, and the remaining pages still go through.

Which TIFF files will not convert?

BigTIFF, old-style JPEG compression and a few rare colour layouts are outside what the built-in decoder handles. The browser's own TIFF reader (Safari has one) is then tried as a backup; if that fails too, re-save the file as PNG or JPG.

Will a phone picture taken in portrait end up sideways?

No. JPEG photos carrying a rotation tag are put upright before they reach the page, and you can still spin any page by hand with its rotate button.

Is it safe to run ID scans or medical letters through this tool?

Your browser reads the files and builds the PDF itself, so the scans are never uploaded to a server. The finished PDF is saved straight to your own device.
